Black Woman, She Wasn’t Accused of Being a Rapist, Accused Herself of Rape

SANDY, Utah — Black woman accused of raping a white man at a local Walmart was never accused of sexual assault.
But she was charged with the crime of aggravated assault, even though she was never charged with rape.
In a new video posted to the YouTube channel of Stella Rose, the black woman who is accused of attacking her white male assailant has apologized for her actions.
Rose’s story began as a robbery attempt.
When police arrived, they found her in a Walmart parking lot, covered in bruises.
The man they were after fled the scene and was later caught, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.
He told investigators he believed Rose was attempting to rob him and had a gun, according the police report.
Rose later told police she had been walking back to her car when she was attacked.
She told police the attacker had a black man in a hoodie with a knife, a black jacket and pants, and he was holding her against her will.
He grabbed her by the throat and choked her, the police reported.
Rose was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
She later died at the hospital.
The Salt Lake Police Department said the man who allegedly assaulted Rose, Anthony Lott, was arrested on Thursday.
