Clinton aide says she’s done with her ‘Rosie’ video – NYT
ROSIE ROSIE ROSE was a star on “The Rosie Show,” a hit television show in the 1980s, where she and her husband, the actor Bill Rosiere, had an appearance on every episode.
She and Rosiere became the most famous couple in TV history, and the couple also made a star-studded movie trilogy in the ’90s.
But the couple’s life was cut short in 1996 when Rosie’s husband, a comedian and musician, died from a heroin overdose.
The couple left behind two sons, Michael and Ryan, and a daughter, Rosie Rose.
The Rosettes’ eldest daughter, Ariana, is a popular actress who has appeared in movies including “Gone Girl,” “The Devil Wears Prada,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” and “The Little Mermaid.”
After Rosie died, she was succeeded by her son, Chris, and he went on to become the director of “Gossip Girl.”
But Rosie Rosie has now taken her place in Hollywood.
She has starred in a number of movies since leaving “Rosie,” including “Rescue Me,” “Sons of Anarchy,” “Beverly Hills Cop,” “Bad Moms” and the upcoming “Bad Santa.”
When she was still married to Bill, Rosio Rose was a regular on “Rosies” and on other TV shows including “Mork and Mindy,” “Cats,” “Fringe” and more.
Now, Rosette Rose, 51, is in her sixth decade in Hollywood, and she’s been an outspoken advocate for children and for the arts.
She is also a member of the Rosie Family Foundation and has donated money to a number local charities.
Rosie Rose and Bill Rosie are survived by their two sons Ryan and Michael, and their daughter Ariana.
