Rose Lees wants to join Blues in January but Blues have no interest
By Jonny GomesThe Blues will not make a bid for Chelsea striker Rose Leves on loan until after the end of the season, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.
Chelsea have yet to make a formal offer for the England Under-21 international, who is expected to join them in January, although they may consider a January move for striker Alex Pritchard, according to a report from The Times.
Leves is currently in London with the Blues, with their hopes of signing him up to a new long-term deal on the horizon.
Ahead of the game against Everton, the Blues will look to sign Leves to an extension of their contract with a view to extending his stay.
Chelsea will have to sell a few players, with N’Golo Kante, Branislav Ivanovic, Kurt Zouma and Dominic Solanke all on the books for next season.
Kante is reportedly close to agreeing a move to Real Madrid, while Ivanovic has made an approach to Chelsea.
Solanke, who spent the majority of the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle, is also set to move to Chelsea in January.
