Rose Bundy is back in Serie A
Rose Bundys latest move back to Serie A comes as he is linked with a move away from his boyhood club, Lazio.
The midfielder’s agent has revealed that the club are in negotiations with the 26-year-old over a new deal.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the talks are in the final stages and the Italian side will pay the player the “fair market value” of the contract.
“Bundy’s agent Giorgio Capponi has informed Lazio that the contract talks with Rose Bundies team are still ongoing and that the player will have to decide whether to stay at the club,” Sky Sport italia quoted Cappini as saying.
“He wants to be with the club where he grew up, where he has a good relationship with the supporters and where he knows he will always be appreciated.”
The Italian giants have been linked with several midfield players, including Gervinho, Giacomo Bonaventura, and Matteo Trentin.
The Bianconeri are yet to announce the player’s transfer fee, but are understood to be willing to pay a transfer fee of up to €10m.
Bundys last spell at Lazio was from January 2011 until February 2016, when he was forced to leave for Sevilla, where his agent confirmed that the striker would not be joining up with the side for the season.
Bundy, a member of the Lazio first team since joining from Bologna in 2009, is currently on loan at Palermo, with his contract expiring in the summer.
