This week on All Things Considered: The new Rose from the new season of “Roseanne” has had a major shift in her relationship with her mother.
Roseanne Barr was cast as Roseanne after she left her sitcom on “Rose.”
Roseanne had already been cast as the new mom in a spinoff of “The Big Bang Theory.”
The actress is in her seventh season on the show.
Roseanne Barr has had several roles that had previously been played by women.
In 2009, she starred in “Falling,” which was produced by “Big Bang Theory” creator Craig Thomas.
Then, in 2011, she played mother to the daughter of David Letterman on “The Late Show With David Lettermann.”
Rose was in a relationship with actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus when she appeared in a sketch for “The Colbert Report.”
And now Roseanne is playing mother to Roseanne’s daughter, Emma.
Emma Rose has had two roles on the hit TV series “The Voice.”
She first appeared in the season two premiere, which aired in January.
And in the second season finale, she made her debut in the Christmas special.
The show is known for its gender equality.
